The States... having resolved to enter into a compact under the act of the Congress of the United States of America appointed as their commissioners.
Executive Summary of Navajo Nation Water Rights Settlement
The Settlement Agreement would resolve the claims of the Navajo Nation to the use of waters of the San Juan River Basin in New Mexico in a manner that would insure the benefit of the Navajo Nation and the State of New Mexico.
Navajo Nation Water Rights Settlement
The provisions of this Agreement, including its Appendices, and any other written or oral communications related thereto are covered by Rule 408 of the New Mexico Rules of Evidence.
Proposed Navajo Pipeline Map
A detailed map of the proposed Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project. The proposed pipelines on this map could have the ability to bring running water to 60,000-70,000 Navajo people. Funding for these pipelines depends on a proposed $800 million apportionment from the US Congress.
